Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Reviaid (accessible at reviaid.com and related APIs), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into these terms on behalf of a company or legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity.
2. Description of the Service
Reviaid provides an asynchronous dunning and subscription churn recovery platform. Our service connects to your payment processor (including Stripe) via webhooks to detect failed billing events (invoice.payment_failed), schedule automated retries, send recovery notices, and provide customers with tokenized payment update portals.
3. Pricing, Performance Commissions, & Billing
Reviaid operates on transparent, founder-friendly pricing:
- Performance Commission (Starter Plan): We charge a performance fee (typically 5%) calculated strictly on monthly recurring revenue (MRR) that is successfully recovered through our dunning interventions. If no subscriptions are rescued, no performance fee is assessed.
- Base Subscriptions (Growth & Scale): Fixed monthly subscriptions ($19/mo or $49/mo) are billed on a recurring 30-day basis and can be canceled at any time from your account settings.
- Successful Recovery Definition: A payment is deemed successfully recovered when an invoice marked failed transitions to paid status following a Reviaid email notice, customer portal card update, or scheduled retry within our 7-day grace period.
4. Payment Card Security & Zero PCI Scope
Reviaid acts solely as an event listener and notification orchestrator. Reviaid never receives, processes, transmits, or stores raw credit card numbers, CVVs, or bank account credentials.
All payment updates submitted by end-users occur through encrypted, tokenized interfaces powered directly by Stripe Elements or Stripe Customer Portal. Reviaid’s infrastructure complies with all applicable PCI-DSS scope exemptions.
5. Service Availability & SLA
We deploy our webhook endpoints across global edge runtimes with a target uptime of 99.9%. While we make every commercially reasonable effort to ensure high availability, Reviaid is not liable for failed deliveries caused by upstream payment gateway outages (e.g. Stripe service downtime) or ISP-level email throttling.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use Reviaid for:
- Sending deceptive, fraudulent, or phishing notifications to end users;
- Attempting to bypass Stripe rate limits or initiate unauthorized charges;
- Reverse engineering or overloading our edge webhook infrastructure.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Reviaid or its founders be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from lost profits, failed customer renewals, or data transmission interruptions, beyond the amount paid by you to Reviaid during the prior three (3) months.
